Reader's comment:
"I thoroughly enjoyed the book and recommended it to my friends,
several of which, so far, purchased it and thanked me for the referral.
I am reading it for a second time to learn, and to find out why I
liked it. It is written in a manner that's easy to read and it
flows. It's set in a time in American Southwest history, after
the civil war, that didn't interest me but at the suggestion of a
friend I gave it a go. What a good story! I felt myself
riding through the high desert of New Mexico. I could smell the
sage as he described it and the colors are magnificent! It's
amazing how he places the reader in the middle of everything happening."
